Walking Warsaw

One of the best ways to get to know a city is to take a walking tour. They aren’t really free although they are cheap: I accidentally gave a 100 zloty note when I mean to give 10 as a tip leading to an ever so slightly awkward exchange once everyone had gone… but they’re usually pretty easy to find, enjoyable and you’re guaranteed to learn something!

We successfully navigated the metro system under the guidance of 2 fellow students who have been here a bit longer and made our way to the top of the university library where we were supposed to find a mass-free picnic. That didn’t quite work out, but we definitely made the most of it in the wonderful Warsaw sunshine.
